About Me

Part problem-solver, part pixel-pusher, part professional asker of “but why?!”

I started out making things look good. Somewhere along the way, I became equally interested in figuring out why they should exist in the first place.

Over 8+ years in design, I’ve learned that behind every confusing interface is usually a problem worth solving (and occasionally, a meeting that could’ve been an email).

I’m drawn to the messy middle where business goals, user needs, and technical realities all have different opinions – and they each want to have the loudest voice. Ughh 🙁

My brain loves to bring structure to the chaos, unearth stories from the data, and nudges me with just enough healthy scepticism to ask, “Are we solving the right problem?”

Because the best design isn’t always the flashiest. Sometimes, it’s the thing that just works…and makes you wonder why it was ever complicated.

Basically, I help products  get their act together.

...and when not working?

Outside of work, I generally like to hang out with friends, read (thank God for my voracious reading habit), travel and explore new places and culture, roll up my sleeves and bake some wicked good brownies and pineapple upside-down cake. I'm already drooling.
